Exoborne is a tactical, open-world extraction shooter set in a post-apocalyptic United States beset by extreme weather, powered by Unreal Engine 5 for PC & next-gen consoles.

Exoborne features open-world PvP, PvE elements, and extreme weather challenges in a devastated southeastern United States. It emphasizes verticality with a grapple hook and parachute, showcasing advanced suits called Exo-Rigs for personalized loadouts. Set in a near-future Earth, players, known as Reborn, face environmental threats and hostile factions while scavenging and crafting in Colton County. Exoborne’s striking visuals and dynamic weather effects, including tornadoes and lightning, promise an engaging gaming experience.

Key contributions

  • Introduced a Debug Camera System that empowered the team to capture dynamic vehicle shots from diverse angles, showcasing intricate vehicle dynamics.
  • Architected, planned, and troubleshooted the development of new features for a vehicle system using Unreal Engine 5 & the Chaos Physics System, exposing parameters and control systems for designer needs.
  • Wrote technical documentation on the process of Engine Integration from Unreal Engine 5 to our project to share the knowledge with other team members.
